How do you capture newborn photography?
Whether you're coming to my cozy studio or I’m traveling to your home for an in-home session, my main focus is on creating a comfortable and relaxed environment for everyone. My approach to newborn photography is natural and simple, capturing the tender, real moments—parents holding their little one, tiny toes, fingers, and all those sweet details that make this time so special. I love preserving these authentic connections, creating timeless images that reflect the love and joy within your family.
Note: I do not use swaddling in my sessions, as I prefer to capture babies in their natural state, focusing on their unique and precious details.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in Durham, North Carolina, in the heart of the Triangle area.
I absolutely love to travel! While I primarily serve clients within the Triangle area, I'm always open to the possibility of traveling to capture your special moments in different locations. If you have a specific destination in mind, feel free to reach out, and we can discuss creating a custom order that includes a travel fee to accommodate your needs.
How many pictures will we receive?
You’ll receive a beautifully curated collection of fully edited images that capture the most important moments of your session. Your full album will showcase all the special details and emotions, telling the unique story of your day from start to finish.
Where do you typically hold sessions?
I shoot primarily at Blackwood Farm Park for outdoor sessions and in my cozy backyard studio for indoor sessions. However, if you have a special location in mind, we can absolutely work with that! Just keep in mind that I charge a travel fee for locations more than 30 minutes from my home in Durham.
Can I order prints through you?
Absolutely! Once your gallery is delivered, you'll have plenty of amazing options to purchase prints directly from the gallery.
Do you provide a client wardrobe?
Yes, I offer a beautiful array of dresses for mamas to make your session as stress-free as possible. Feel free to reach out, and I’d be happy to provide more details about the options available!
When will we get our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within 1-2 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints!

I'm always chasing natural golden light to bring out the best in every session. My style of photography is storytelling, with creamy golden tones that highlight genuine emotions and connections. I aim to capture the unique details that make your family's story special, creating beautiful, natural, and timeless photographs you'll cherish forever.
What time will our session begin?
The start time of your session will be discussed and scheduled in advance to accommodate your preferences and ensure the best lighting conditions for your photos.
